Why does the bible recommend that the relationship between a husband and wife resemble the relationship between Christ and the church?
To have a prosperous relationship with God you need to completely submit yourself to His will. You need to fully devote yourself to Him and only Him. Every decision you make should be done in prayer and consultation with the Lord, not by your own understanding. You must dwell in His word and walk the straight and narrow path that Jesus laid out for us. You must spend time with God, seeking Him, talking to Him and listening to Him. These are aspects of the role that the church plays in the relationship between ourselves and Christ.
When we play our part Jesus is always faithful in going above and beyond our expectations. He listens and answers our prayers; He helps us to overcome insurmountable odds; He intercedes on our behalf; He forgives time and time again; He loves us unconditionally; He never gives up on us; He is always there and He blesses us abundantly even though we don’t deserve it. These are aspects of the role that Jesus plays in the relationship between ourselves and Christ.

Hahaha you know honestly on this post I let the Holy spirit lead me for hours as I composed each word in a sentence in a paragraph. I literally just said may the spirit of God guide me and then it did. I had a little over a month to write it but procrastinated saying I’ve got time until about 2 weeks before it was due. Then I tried to crack down but drew blanks every single time I tried to write. Then finally I got in my car an just prayed a long long prayer to God asking for guidance and clearance and for His spirit to help me write. when walked back into my house I was like a rabbit on a spin wheel after drinking a gallon of red bull and 5 hour energy hahaha. I can;t believe myself that it came out so well but it honestly is all God. I am super happy you liked it and I am glad you are still around checking up on myself and my wife and for your prayers. Sorry I don’t post as much I am trying to get the website and videos going while writing material. It is all coming together nicely, slowely but surely. hahahaha keep frogging it Joanne hahahaaha

I did not make the website yet I definitely will soon. I want to get the videos up and going first but I just got hit with some major bills hahahaha we make our plans and then life happens hahahahaha. but once all of this is taken care of I will put the money up for the site and get things rolling. I can not wait to see the next blog. if you can you should definitely record some videos explaining apologetics that would be amazing to watch. like lectures I’d pay for that hahahahahaha. but goodness you have no idea how much I love prayer I need as much of it as I can get. my wife and I live our loves basing everything we do on our trust in God. it always works for us and I believe it is because of our prayers and prayers of those who love us. thank you so much for your support.
