Okay so it has been a while since I have written on here but if you have my Instagram you see that I haven’t stopped writing altogether. I have been posting mostly to Instagram because I simply didn’t have the time to compose a well thought out, punctually accurate and intelligent sounding blog Lol. So I will give a brief update as to what exactly has been going on.
1st MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a video that I composed for my precious little lady.
The months leading up to her birth and the time following have been pretty hectic to say the least and once she was born I pretty much just stayed away from all social media for a while simply to enjoy her presence. All I have to say is God is so, so, so, so good
Other than this miraculous event, I have been writing a couple of books they are coming along well but will not be finished for quite some time. I will release them chapter by chapter online!
I also have a few scripts and recording equipment, I plan to make short Christian skits for wholesome entertainment (something that this world is seriously lacking right now).
Lastly I will be posting a majority of the things I posted to Instagram on here but in a more detailed well thought out post.
Thank you all for subscribing and following my journey through life I can’t wait to re-connect with you all.
“He told them: “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” (Luke 10:2).
Spreading the word is something that people often neglect. As I have stated before most of us are more worried about our well-being; Things like income, food, clothing and everything else that life necessitates. We become consumed with these things and put them before God. Often when I tell people my age, that I am married, with a child on the way, they say to me, “wow aren’t you a little young to be married with kids, and how are you going to provide?” The saddest thing is a lot of these people call themselves Christians. A lot of Christians today lack understanding of what it means to put your trust in God. Many ignore that still small voice inside of them that attempts to guide their footsteps. When God says to move and you move you will be blessed abundantly for it.
“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
People who do not believe in God rightfully worry about these things because they do not have a provider, therefore they must become providers for themselves. With Christ, these things are added unto us if we just follow Him and seek the kingdom. I spent all of last year and this year taking big risks and steps because God said to. I made bold statements with nothing to back myself up except for my trust in God and that He was leading me. Because of this I went from not having an income whatsoever, unmarried, and confused, to being able to support myself and a stay at home mom in the matter of months. In the midst of my confusion I questioned the steps God set before me, but my doubts did not dictate my actions. I said to God I don’t know how it will get done but I know it will get done.
Trusting in God can be a struggle but we are called to do so and when we do, God always proves himself reliable. If you love someone you trust them, so why not trust God? I work in the hospital and was in school studying to become an RN, but recently had a revelation. God revealed that His will for me is not to save lives here, but to save eternal lives for Him. God called me to the field and said “do not worry, things will get scary at times but trust me, it is only scary because you do not know what I know. If you knew what I knew you would walk through the fire with a smile on your face. Do not worry, for you are in my hands, and no one who is in my hands can be plucked away.”
So what do I do, do I trust God and enter the field of souls seeking to bring as many to heaven with me as possible? Or do I trust myself, and the views of the pagans that believe I need to waste years of my life in school in order to provide? You do not need a school, a six-figure salary, the lottery, or anything like that if you have God. The only time those things are needed is when God leads you in that direction. Jesus pulled His disciples straight from their jobs with no biblical education and for some, no real education at all and sent them out into the field to win souls for His kingdom. So don’t listen to people who tell you that you need a whole bunch of bible school, experience and whatever garbage they can come up with to steer you away from going out there and leading people to Christ RIGHT NOW. I believe it is great to have a solid biblical education, but it is not a necessity to be eligible to go out into the field and work for God.
Today when we travel to an area of the world that we have never been, we listen to a GPS. Why, Because it knows the area better than we do. Let God be your GPS through life because who better to know what you should do with your life than the giver of life?
Hundreds of thousands of people are concerned with their career path and what it will be. Only a fraction of those people are concerned about what God wants them to be, only a fraction of those people actually listen to God, and only a fraction of those people follow the path in full.
God needs more people spreading His word! He needs more people harvesting souls than an income for themselves. God will never lead you to a place that will lead to destruction. Trust Him and He will provide all that you need while you go out into the world and spread His word!
I am so happy to have a guest post by my little sister in Christ on here. She has such a brave heart and has just entered into a world filled with disbelief and darkness. This world is called college and she is going to need as much encouragement as possible because college can be a dark and manipulative place. Thankfully the Lord has blessed her with some amazing friends :). After reading this be sure ti head over to her awesome site and follow her. Okay without further a do I present you A gift from about by Courtney the 1timothy412girl
Before I begin, I would like to say thank you to my friend and big brother in Christ—Julian—for giving me the opportunity to guest post on his site! His posts are awesome I know that God has great plans for him, his family, and his blog!
When Julian asked me to write a guest post, he asked that I speak about a time when I felt God’s presence in my life. After a lot of thinking, I realized that the way that God is revealing Himself the most strongly right now is through my friendships. Throughout the years, God has placed some amazing people into my life who have encouraged me in my walk with God and helped me grow.
I met my best friend during the summer between freshman and sophomore year, when I was going through a particularly dark season that I thought would never turn around. I was dealing with a lot of drama that I never would have volunteered to be involved in, and I was falling deeper and deeper into a sea of despair. I remember days when I didn’t even want to leave the house, feeling that I would never have close friends again. Nonetheless, as time went on, and as I pushed forward, it soon became clear that loneliness was not part of God’s plan for me. Little by little, he began bringing new and wonderful people into my life
Upon the arrival of sophomore year, even amidst the continuous drama I was dealing with, I soon found myself becoming closer with fellow classmates—some of them whom I’ve known of since junior high. As I spent my year wishing for one perfect friend, God was orchestrating things behind the scenes to bring me a whole group that would soon become like family to me.
One day—two years later—I was hanging out with my friends at the mall. By then, I had moved past the pain and drama and was surrounded by a wonderful, quirky, amazing group of friends. We were sitting at a long table in the mall cafeteria and my best friend Alex and I decided to get up and walk around. One by one, our friends began getting up and followed behind us. Alex—amused by this scene—made a comment that we both still remember.
“It looks like we’ve got a squad!”
That day, the “squad” was born, even though in some ways, it’s earliest roots can be traced back to the start of high school. During freshman year, when one of my friends was diagnosed with diabetes, a group of students from our English class met at Cracker Barrel to support him. At another point, I distinctly remember another friend sharing about a personal experience he was dealing with involving racial prejudice. Yet another time, I expressed some of my fears about the future and one friend promised that no matter what, we’d always be friends and when he has kids, I get the honorary title of being “Aunt Courtney”. We’ve all walked through some big problems together, but our friendship has always proved to be bigger.
Our “squad” is about as diverse as any friend group can be, with a mix of personalities, interests, and dreams, but we share a common friendship and we were brought together according to God’s plan. I have also been blessed to make friends through the blogging world, and have met people from other states and countries—even places as far as Nigeria!
In the Bible, Jesus models friendship through his relationships with his disciples and fellow-sojourners. Meanwhile David and Jonathan, along with Ruth and Naomi show what it means to have a strong unbreakable friendship.
I have been blessed with friends like this, and I pray God continues to work in our friendships, drawing us each closer to Him through our relationships with each other. Throughout our life here, we are given many wonderful gifts from above and I believe that one of the greatest gifts is the relationships that we have with one another, as well as our friendship with our Heavenly Father. In Christ, we always have the assurance of friendship, and a family who will be by our side for all eternity.
Jesus calls us to be a family— an eternal “squad” that will never fade away.
Can I get an amen?
In order for Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross to be valid, He had to experience the full extent of suffering for the sins of all mankind. This meant being completely separated from God. To be separated from God is to be separated from all that is good. “Everything good comes from God. Every perfect gift is from him…” James 1:17
Jesus, by suffering the consequences of the sins of humanity, despite living a blameless sinless life, became the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. No other person or deed could have covered the cost. He took our damnation and turned it into salvation and the most amazing part of it all is that it is a free gift to each of us. “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10
God is love, and He has shown us that, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope (Romans 5:3-4)
In order to have a testimony, you must be put through a test. God prepares us throughout our lives to be vessels to be sent out into the world to be a blessing to other people. When you are in the midst of a trial rejoice knowing that God has already given you the victory. Once your prosperous, use your prosperity to guide others through their hardships. We win souls and maintain salvation with unselfish love and provide hope to the hopeless.
